Ancaster Laser Medispa Services:
Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser

As you develop signs of age and your skin succumbs to sun damage, you may start to notice imperfections like hyperpigmentation, wrinkles and enlarged pores.

While these issues are normal, we know they might make you feel insecure. Because of this, we strive to make youthful, radiant skin accessible to all of our patients using skin treatments like the Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser.

Why Halo?

To rebuild your confidence and combat signs of damaged skin, consider Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser therapy. What makes this innovative treatment so unique is the combination of ablative and non-ablative lasers that work together to resurface your skin.

Ablative lasers remove the top layer of skin. Non-ablative lasers heat the skin tissue underneath the surface layer to promote collagen production. Together, Halo’s hybrid laser delivers all of the immediate benefits of an ablative laser without any downtime.

Unlike other forms of resurfacing therapy, the results of Halo begin to appear after only a single treatment. With other procedures, you have to undergo many expensive sessions before seeing dramatic results. Halo is both cost-effective and efficient.

Other similar laser treatments ask too much of you. Rather than submitting yourself to intense pain and drawn-out recovery times, consider Halo laser therapy for its quick and effective approach to skincare.

What Can Halo Laser Treatment Do?

Here are some of the common issues that Halo can help lessen the appearance of:

· Hyperpigmentation

· Uneven texture

· Enlarged pores

· Sun damage

· Scars and marks

· Signs of aging

· Fine lines

All of our patients leave their Halo laser treatment feeling satisfied with the results. Our team at Ancaster Laser Medispa will help you feel beautiful in your own skin. We'll create a personalized action plan that targets your primary skin concerns.

Our licensed aestheticians here at Ancaster Laser Medispa are dedicated to giving you the best results without long recovery time. The Halo treatment does much more than just return your skin to a plump and youthful state. It reverses years of damage and aging that has left you looking tired.

Is Halo Laser Skin Treatment Safe?

The Halo laser skin treatment is an ultra-safe procedure that works beautifully for most skin types and skin tones. Your aesthetician will guide you through the entire process and ensure you feel comfortable before moving forward with the procedure.

We urge you not to worry because the risk of complications is very slim. Rarely do patients experience anything besides complete satisfaction after their Halo therapy session.

How Does It Work

Halo uses a combination of ablative and non-ablative lasers. These lasers pulse simultaneously. They work together to heat and remove layers of dead skin. This treatment promotes the production of collagen without being too abrasive.

We'll determine how many sessions you need and how thorough we must be. Our aesthetician will look at the severity of your skin issues and create a treatment plan.

How Does The Treatment Feel?

With all skin treatments, patients fear pain. Luckily, clients who have the Halo treatment only feel minimal discomfort. It comes in the form of a warm, poking sensation.

To begin the procedure, your aesthetician will apply a topical anaesthetic. This happens 30 to 60 minutes before the treatment. Then, your face is measured using motion-tracking technology. This is so the aesthetician can target all areas of your skin evenly.

The laser is then applied to all sections of your face using smooth, even strokes. The procedure is usually completed within an hour. However, this depends on the nature of your unique treatment plan and your skin needs.

How Long Is The Recovery?

One of the primary reasons that clients love Halo so much is because the downtime for healing is almost non-existent. Other procedures have lengthy recovery times. With Halo, your skin will look and feel back to normal within a few days.

The only precaution you must take is not wearing makeup for at least 24 hours after the procedure. We recommend avoiding sunlight for a few days until swelling and redness begin to subside.

How Will Results Appear?

After undergoing your Halo treatment, results will appear within 2 to 5 days. Until then, your skin will bronze. It will peel to reveal the fresh layers of skin underneath those targeted by the treatment.

When your skin begins to flake and peel, do not pull at skin that has yet to fall off your face. It may be tempting to pick at your skin but doing so will cause damage to the new layers underneath because they are not ready to surface.

For the first few days, wash your face using a mild cleanser to avoid irritation. The new surface layer of skin will be delicate for several days. You’ll want to take special care of it. You should avoid alpha-hydroxy acids like glycolic and lactic acid. Aside from possible irritation, it may be a bit painful applying these harsh chemicals on a sensitive face.

Once you feel completely healed, feel free to resume your normal skincare routine. Because of the improvements, you may even be inclined to change aspects of your routine. For example, some clients who began with an oily skin type report a more balanced complexion after the Halo treatment.

Another added benefit of Halo is that your results are continuous. Several weeks after your session, your complexion will continue to regenerate, unveiling new layers of radiant skin. To maintain your new youthful glow, we suggest treating your skin kindly by limiting sun exposure and wearing sunscreen.

Achieve the best skin of your life at our Halo medical clinic in Hamilton. The halo laser treatment removes damaged layers of skin. It penetrates into the deeper layers to reveal a rejuvenated complexion.

Halo: Radiant Skin Without The Downtime

Halo - the world's first tunable hybrid fractional laser has arrived in Canada.

Over time, your skin can lose its youthful glow due to sun exposure and your body’s natural aging process. As a result, your body may develop sun spots, fine lines, and lose that natural healthy glow. Previous lasers couldn’t effectively remove this damage, because the treatment was either too shallow or too deep. Halo eliminates years of damage by precisely targeting the right depth. Halo restores the luminous glow you had when you were younger.

Everyone’s skin is different. Everyone’s needs are different. Halo allows your clinician to customize your treatment to fit your lifestyle. Need to be back at work tomorrow? A light treatment creates smooth, vibrant skin that’s ready for makeup the next day. Want to WOW them? A more intense treatment will give your skin that youthful glow with just a few days of downtime.

In the past, you had to choose between a procedure that offered really great results but required a lengthy recovery, or a procedure with a fast recovery but marginal results. Now with Halo you get the best of both worlds: great results with minimal downtime. Halo combines deep dermal rejuvenation with epidermal renewal for a combined synergistic effect you can’t get with any other treatment. Halo creates beautiful results without the downtime of more aggressive treatments.

Halo precisely targets years of damage to your skin, including:

* Discoloration

* Sun damage

* Visible signs of aging
