Summer is here, and the sun is at its strongest. One of most common questions we hear is : "What treatments are safe during the summer months?"

The good news is that many treatments can be performed safely in summer. Because pigment cells are located in the most superficial layers of the skin, treatments that work deeper in the skin or under the skin carry no risk of pigmentary changes. Many of our energy-based treatments are summer friendly. Tissue-tightening and lifting procedure such as ultrasound (Ultherapy), radiofrequency, radial shock therapy, majority of NdYAG and Erbium lasers (most Fotona and other treatments) bypass the superficial skin and are typically safe during the summer months.

Most importantly, if you practice good sun protection and avoid unprotected sun exposure before and after the treatment, many laser procedures can be performed safely your-round.

We are encouraging sun safety this summer. Those who follow it, can book such treatments as BBL or Halo with 20% OFF anytime during summertime. (These treatments are only for those who practice sun safety).

We are extending our business hours on Wednesdays until 9PM (by appointment only). All treatments booked on Wednesdays will be 20% OFF for those supporting our local Farmers Market across the street at the Memorial Arts Centre.
