Fotona is an advanced medical-laser technology used to personalize treatments for skin rejuvenation, resurfacing, tightening, pigmentation, redness, acne, scarring, unwanted hair, and selected body concerns. Fotona platforms use two complementary laser wavelengths—Nd:YAG and Er:YAG—so treatments can be tailored to different skin depths. Nd:YAG energy reaches deeper structures for treatments such as tightening, hair reduction, acne and selected vascular concerns; Er:YAG energy is used more precisely at the skin surface for texture refinement and resurfacing.

Fotona4D®
A non-surgical facial-rejuvenation treatment that combines four laser steps to improve the appearance of firmness, fine lines, texture, and overall skin quality. It works across different skin layers—including an intraoral step in many protocols—to support gradual collagen renewal and a refreshed, natural-looking result.
Fotona4D® Men
A Fotona4D treatment tailored to common male-skin needs, such as thicker skin, texture changes, visible pores, and early laxity. It uses a four-step laser approach to refresh, tighten, and improve skin quality without surgery, injectables, or significant downtime.
NightLase®
A gentle, non-invasive laser treatment designed to reduce snoring caused by vibration of soft tissue at the back of the throat. It uses controlled warming to support firmer soft-palate tissue and improved airflow; it is not a replacement for medical assessment or treatment of obstructive sleep apnea.
VectorLift®
A non-surgical laser protocol focused on the eye and brow area. It is designed to improve the appearance of upper-eyelid laxity and support a more lifted-looking brow through treatment of the forehead, upper eyelids, and scalp.
LipLase®
A non-injectable laser lip-rejuvenation treatment that uses controlled heat to support collagen production in and around the lips. It is designed to improve the appearance of lip fullness, fine lines, and lip definition gradually—without dermal filler.
Permanent Hair Reduction
A laser treatment that targets hair follicles to provide long-term reduction in unwanted hair growth. A series of sessions is usually needed because hair grows in cycles, and results vary by hair colour, skin type, hormone factors, and the treatment area. Fotona's Nd:YAG laser is used for long-lasting hair-reduction treatments across skin types.
TightSculpting®
A non-invasive laser body-contouring treatment designed to address selected areas of unwanted fat and mild skin laxity. It uses dual-wavelength laser energy to heat fat cells and stimulate collagen remodelling, helping improve the appearance of shape and firmness without incisions or recovery downtime.
Acne & Acne Scar Revision
A customized laser approach for active acne and the visible effects of acne scarring. Treatment may help manage acne concerns and, when appropriate, use precise Er:YAG resurfacing to improve the appearance of uneven texture, acne scars, and post-acne skin changes.
Scar Revision
A laser treatment plan designed to improve the appearance and texture of selected scars, including acne, surgical, and traumatic scars. Fotona can combine deeper Nd:YAG laser treatment with fractional Er:YAG resurfacing to support collagen remodelling and smoother-looking skin.
Onychomycosis
A laser-based option for onychomycosis, the medical name for fungal nail infection. Fotona's ClearSteps™ protocol uses Nd:YAG laser energy to heat the affected nail and surrounding tissue; it is generally performed as a series and should be combined with appropriate nail hygiene and medical assessment where needed.
Vascular Lesions
Laser treatment for selected visible blood-vessel concerns, such as facial spider veins, angiomas, venous lakes, and some vascular lesions. The laser targets blood within the vessel so the body can gradually clear it; an assessment is needed because not all redness or visible veins are suitable for laser treatment.
HAIRestart®
A non-invasive laser protocol for selected forms of hair thinning and hair-loss concerns. It is designed to stimulate dormant hair follicles and support a healthier environment for hair growth; results vary, and a medical assessment may be recommended to identify the underlying cause of hair loss.
ComfortLase™
A photobiomodulation, or low-level laser-light, treatment designed to support healing, reduce discomfort, and help manage inflammation after selected procedures. It is a gentle, non-invasive supportive therapy rather than a standalone cosmetic resurfacing treatment.
Fotona4GLOW®
A premium multi-step laser facial designed to improve overall skin radiance in one efficient treatment. The protocol combines pigment toning, redness reduction, collagen stimulation, deeper tightening, and fractional texture refinement to address uneven tone, dullness, visible pores, and early laxity with minimal downtime.

Fotona 4D Facial Rejuvenation
Fotona 4D is a non-surgical laser rejuvenation treatment designed to improve the appearance of facial laxity, fine lines, uneven texture, and dullness. It works across multiple layers of the skin using four distinct treatment modes: SmoothLiftin™, FRAC3®, PIANO®, and SupErficial™.
The treatment may include an intraoral component that treats from inside the mouth to support collagen stimulation in areas such as the nasolabial folds and cheeks, followed by external laser treatment for deeper tightening, rejuvenation, and a light skin-refreshing peel.
Fotona 4D is often selected by clients who want a gradual, natural-looking improvement in skin quality and firmness without surgery. Results vary, but improvements can continue to develop over two to three months as collagen remodelling occurs.

Some Fotona treatments are designed for minimal downtime, with temporary warmth or redness. More intensive resurfacing may involve several days of redness, swelling, dryness, bronzing, or peeling. Your provider will explain the recommended protocol, expected recovery, and aftercare before treatment.
Aftercare and Safety
Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning before and after treatment
Use broad-spectrum sunscreen daily
Follow your customized post-treatment instructions
Avoid picking, exfoliating, or using irritating active skincare until cleared
Contact the clinic if you experience blistering, increasing pain, unusual swelling, or signs of infection
Fotona treatment may need to be postponed or modified for clients with active skin infection, open wounds, recent tanning, certain medications, pregnancy/breastfeeding considerations, a tendency toward abnormal scarring, or other medical conditions.
